Animo Venice Charter High School

"The Battle Of The Animo's" at the Galen Center will take place this year on December 1st 2009. There will be four teams participating.

• Animo South Los Angeles
• Oscar DeLa Hoya
• Animo Jackie Robinson
• Animo Venice

The first game will start at 5pm with the second game at 7pm. Each team will play two games. we plan to leave the school at 3:25. heading to the Trojan Mall to eat and then onto the Galen Center for the game. There are tshirts available for everyone to purchase. T-shirts are $7.00 and admission to the game is $5.00.

You will need to bring a permission slip signed from home to attend this field trip.  Come out and support your Pirates. See Coach Henrie/ Mr. Gordon for any further details. Permission slips will be on the counter in the main office.

The Run -- Distance: 1.12 miles

· Run south on California Ave.

· Cross Abbot Kinney

· Go right and quick left on Andalusia

· Go south on Andalusia until Venice Way

· Right on Venice Way until we hit the beach

· Proceed to Windward and Ocean Front Walk

Gather in lunch area at 2:30

Start run at 2:35

Arrive at beach between 2:45 – 3:00

Beach Clean-up 3:00 – 3:25

Students are excused from school 3:25

Run back / Walk back 3:30

Late Buses start arriving at 4:30
